Position Description
The Florida State University Career Center is seeking a systems and technology intern. The intern will report to the Systems Coordinator and will assist with providing technical support for computer-based administrative, instructional, and research applications for the Career Center. The intern may also assist with maintaining The Career Center’s website.
This is a Federal Work Study position, so applicants must have been awarded Federal Work Study through Financial Aid.

Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016/2019 applications, particularly Word and Outlook. Familiarity with standard troubleshooting for Windows workstations in a network environment.
Knowledge of and ability to learn HTML and open source CMS solutions, such as Drupal. Ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal to moderate supervision and to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Good customer service skills.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist with setting up check-in stations for career fairs (sometimes early morning)
- Assist with event set up in Career Center
- Desktop support for staff and student workstations
- Set up new equipment as needed
- Update Career Center and related websites
- Special projects as assigned
