Video Blogger & Interviewer Intern (vlogger)
Description: Dreams Abroad, a blog dedicated to the empowerment of global professionals, is looking for a Video Blogger & Interviewer (vlogger) Intern to join our growing team. The ideal applicant will possess strong knowledge of the digital filming landscape including writing interview questions and content, filming, and producing. The videos will be shared on our website and posted to various social media outlets including: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Google+.
The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the creation of short stories via video on various topics including, beginning conversations in conjunction to our vision, engaging in current events abroad, interviewing, and optimizing the different social media outlets. Those looking to gain valuable video and interview experience with passionate organization are encouraged to apply.
Skills Needed:
- On-air look and persona
- Video and interview etiquette
- Video storytelling development
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- An understanding in current techniques in filming, editing, and sound.
Social Media Intern Responsibilities:
- Work with the vision to create and implement short movies on social media and website
- Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis
- Write, film, edit and produce
- Create interviews in an engaging and creative matter
Hours per Week:
- 10 hours per week, flexibility with hours, at least 3 days a week
- Remote location. Not an office job
- Unpaid
