Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online(WDPRO)is the digital media arm of Parks and Resorts segment. Through our award-winning websites, we provide a digital portal to magical travel destinations such as the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida, the Disneyland® Resort in California and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. At WDPRO, we also have designed and created websites for Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney and Disney Vacation Club.

Responsibilities
Provide insight into site data and communicate opportunities or issues to business management
Support business unit teams, product management group and search engine marketing team with ad-hoc reporting and in-depth website analysis
Manage the compilation and dissemination of regular (e.g. weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.) reports on performance of the web channel
Solicit and collect commentary from product groups
Seek opportunities to improve the report processes, data collection, delivery methods, and value
Answer requests for metrics
Exercise judgment and interpretation of requests to deliver the appropriate metric with the necessary context
Provide guidance and support to casual users/ consumers of the metrics
Guide data requirements by working with other data management, analytic, technology and business groups within the enterprise to ensure that the data needed is available for analysis

Basic Qualifications
Proven analytical skills/coursework
Experience using MSExcel MSWord and/or Power Point to present results
Strong communication skills
Strategic thinking
Strong interest in the Internet

Preferred Qualifications
Web analytics experience
Exposure to Google Analytics/Omniture Site Catalyst
Analytics experience
Business Intelligence tool experience (Business Objects, SAS Enterprise Guide or similar tools)
Post-graduate status

Additional Information Internship Eligibility:
Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall), or have graduated within the last 6 months prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
Not have already completed two consecutive (spring/fall) College or Professional Internship Programs
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Must provide full work availability
Must provide own transportation to/from work
Current Active Disney Cast Members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World Cast Members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland Cast Members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)
Program Length:
The approximate dates of this internship are May/June 2014 through August/Sept. 2014. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.
