OPS Position

Department: College of Social Sciences & Public Policy (Technology Department)

Salary Range: $12-$15 an hour / 20 hours a week, depending on experience and longevity

Requirements

¨     Ability to effectively collaborate in a team environment

¨     Ability to prioritize and organize work and assignments

¨     Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

¨     Ability to utilize problem solving and technical skills

¨     Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures for computer support and web development

¨     In-depth knowledge of web-design through HTML and CSS

¨     Basic knowledge of graphic design with Photoshop, Fireworks, and Illustrator

¨     Basic knowledge with PHP application development

Preferred

¨     Advanced graphic design skills with Photoshop, Fireworks, and Illustrator

¨     Advanced PHP application development skills

¨     Knowledge of the framework of the Drupal content management system

¨     Prior experience with routine web-server management

¨     Ability to provide backup technical IT support within the department
