Salary Range
Minimum salary range: $32,717.00  Salary will be commensurate depending on  experience and education.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other appropriate degree and two years experience or a combination of appropriate post high school education and experience equal to six years

Requirements
Knowledge of standard programming languages, concepts, practices and procedures;  Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, Ability to utilize problem solving and technical skills, Ability to document existing and new processes, ability to prioritize and organize work assignments, ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Preferred
* Ample experience with enforcing IT security related tasks and policies
* Ample experience working in a University environment
* Ample experience supervising a support staff
* Prior knowledge of Inventory tracking and management policies
* Advanced PHP and MySQL application development skills
* Advanced graphic design skills with Photoshop, Fireworks, and Illustrator
* Knowledge of the framework of the Drupal content management system

Schedule
Hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm  Monday – Friday

Responsibilities
Position is responsible for supervising the operations of IT and Web support within the College and reports directly to the Dean with routine departmental status and progress updates. Requires expert knowledge of all aspects of web development, including information architecture, graphic design, content management, and application development. Specifically in-depth knowledge of FTP, SSH, HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL web technologies are a must. Expert knowledge of Windows and Linux-based server administration. Prior working knowledge and experience providing IT support for workstations, printers, and servers. Ability and willingness to continually learn the latest hardware and software innovations. Knowledge of various software applications and hardware installations. Must exercise critical problem solving skills for computer support solutions.

supervise 2-3 OPS employees and one USPS employee, Web development, computer support to the college, administer, configure and maintain servers, research, supervise IT and Web support staff within the college while directly providing the Dean with departmental status and progress updates

This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
