Jobsite: Florida Department of Health/Office of Health Statistics and Assessment/Bureau of Clinic Management and
Informatics/Temporary Agile Tester/Quality Assurance Analyst to assist with testing of a software application used to automate the coordination of healthcare to citizens of Florida.
Qualifications: Contractors will be required to complete this work on site at DOH. Excellent verbal and written
communication skills and problem solving skills. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and user staff. Ability to work as an integral team member. Knowledge of Agile software development, project management and testing practices. Demonstrated experience with software testing. Knowledge of all software testing practices such as test driven development, unit testing, functional testing, black box testing, white box testing, regression testing, automated testing, integration testing, performance testing, user testing, pilot testing. At least 3 years demonstrated software testing experience. Experience writing test cases and test scripts. Experience with flowcharting and/or Unified Modeling Language. Experience executing software tests. Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
Salary: $21.00 Hourly
Job Description: This full-time position will work as an integral member of an Agile team performing functional
testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing. The employee will need to understand the
business and system processes and functions of the Health Management System (HMS). They will also be responsible for coordinating software testing activities. Other duties will include documenting test results and reporting results to the team; analyzing and designing testing scenarios; and developing test plans, test cases,
test scripts, and test models.
