This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Actively recruit graduate students for CCI programs.  Primary focus will be on local students.  Fields graduation information request and serves as point person for graduate advising questions. Recruit and train students, alumni, and board members as volunteers to support programming goals and annual fund activities.

Facilitate the conceptualization of, as well as, plan manage and implement overall alumni development strategies, priorities and goals that include alumni leadership, student involvement, programs, services, meetings and communication.

Provide customer relations and support for promoting and developing the relations between Development and University Alumni Relations and the College’s alumni, parents, friends, faculty/staff and currently enrolled College of Communication and Information (CCI) students.

Manage and coordinate activities of the CCI Alumni Board and Community Advisory Board including meetings, recruitment of new members, alumni events and fund raising activities.

Responsible for the development of alumni relations and reunion materials, including annual reports, brochures, letters, gift proposals, thank you letters, donor reports,campaign status reports, etc.

Attend events/programs and be a visible part of the CCI to alumni, donor/friends, students and parents.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of four years of responsible work experience in organizing, coordinating, and promoting events and activities.  Additional education and experience as required by position.
