Graphic Designer @ FSU ITS

The graphic designer will use design to illustrate the many ways technology is being used at Florida State University (FSU) to enhance the student and employee experience. Working within the Information Technology Services (ITS) department, primary responsibilities are to create visual content that helps showcase and promote ITS services and initiatives on multiple channels and capture and edit videos for social media, website, and other marketing needs.

The graphic designer will create a wide range of marketing collateral, including digital banners, posters, and social media graphics. This position will participate in marketing strategy brainstorming sessions and will be responsible for perfecting branded layouts. The graphic designer may also produce digital content using video footage, screen recordings and static graphics on occasion.

The graphic designer works as part of an integrated marketing communications team and interacts with printing vendors to bring content to life.

The ideal candidate will have an eye for design and solid experience in Adobe (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) … someone who can add some color to campus technology and drive interest and awareness of ITS services.
