This position is located at corporate headquarters in Tallahassee, Florida.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent required.
  • A+ Certification with limited experience or two years of General IT experience including a minimum of one year in an IT Helpdesk Support role required.
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally, especially in the Helpdesk role while assisting end users with their technology issues
  • Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Lotus Notes Client.
  • Knowledge of Internet and web browser technology.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair computer hardware.
  • Basic knowledge of networking principles.
  • Desired Certifications
  • A+ Certification preferred but not required.

Duties

  • Performs all functions to ensure local users have proper and functioning equipment needed to complete their assigned duties. Assists with support of remote users as needed via phone, instant message, email and other communication media
  • Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains products and/or equipment.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and repairs system failures.
  • Track end user problems using a ticketing system.
  • Provides support to end users on a variety of issues.
  • Additional duties as required.
