Alexander Street Press is looking for an indexer to work with our new collection named Engineering Case Studies Online. This collection will dramatically improve teaching and research by providing a single, comprehensive source for a wide range of video and text material focusing on engineering failures and successes. The indexer will be working with documentaries, visualizations and simulations, case studies, lectures and interviews from leading engineering institutions. This job is ideal for an MLIS student looking to gain experience working with publisher metadata. Open to remote employment, but must be available during office hours.

Job Requirements:
– Must have familiarity with engineering terms and concepts, particularly in the areas of mechanical, aerospace, and civil engineering.
– Must have taken an indexing course at an accredited library school; additional relevant courses preferred.
– Able to work 40 hours week, from June through end of August.
