Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing IT support to the college and debugging computer issues, IT security, and IT infrastructure needs. Manages the College’s website including making content and design changes.
- Recommends internal IT policies and procedures for managing IT resources in the College. Recommends and implements solutions to all IT resource issues.
- Provides technical support for internal desktop systems, software, hardware and network infrastructure including installation, configuration and troubleshooting of desktop systems, workstations, printers, servers, other peripherals and network issues. Manages the audio/visual equipment in classrooms, conference rooms and computer labs.
- Serves as primary key operator for AV equipment and copiers. Prioritizes IT needs among the supported groups to ensure most critical needs are addressed timely. Researches new products in support of request for upgrades of new technology.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant area or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years.
-Experience conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users
-Experience in fundamentals of network connectivity issues, and relevant hardware
-Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures for computer support
-Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously
-Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
-Ability to provide IT support to department involving problem resolution and debugging
-Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
Preferred
2 years experience in an academic setting

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check to include fingerprinting.
Pay Plan
This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
