The FSU College of Medicine Help Desk is looking for an energetic full-time OPS employee to act in a supporting role to the Office of Information Technology (OIT).
The primary duties of this position will include:
- Serving as the first point of contact for the MED Help Desk
 - Assist MED students, faculty and staff with creating Help Desk tickets
 - Monitors Help Desk ticketing system and communicates with Help Desk staff and customers
 - Performs basic IT troubleshooting to assist the Help Desk staff
 - Creates IT documentation when applicable
 - Maintains inventory of CoM IT toner supply and stockroom
 - Assists Help Desk technicians process and print posters via large format plotter
 
The secondary duties of this position will include:
- Assists the OIT Business Analyst team with correspondence, record keeping, and processing departmental travel & purchasing in OMNI
 - Enters Technical Supportive Requests (TSR) as needed for CoM departmental orders
 - Schedules information technology resources for CoM students, faculty and staff

 - Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple assignments
 - Basic computer skills
 
Preferred skills:
- OMNI knowledge
 - Experience with FSU purchasing processes and procedures
 - Working knowledge of Windows 7, Mac OS X, Office 2013, Adobe Creative Suite, Android and iOS mobile devices
