Librarian – Gulf Coast State College

Gulf Coast State College is seeking to fill an open position for Librarian at our Panama City campus.

The primary functions of the Librarian position are to teach patrons how to research using the library print and online resources, including assessing patron needs, determining the best information to meet those needs, searching for and instructing patrons to find and acquire accurate information; to serve faculty departments in a liaison role for information literacy instruction and collection development; and to supervise the operations of the library during evening or weekend shifts.

Professional development opportunities will be provided for this librarian to support the divisions of health sciences, natural sciences, and business and technology.
