The St. Johns County Public Library System (St. Augustine area) offers professional-level experience for library interns.
Interns will work one on one with a professional librarian to achieve their internship goals.
Opportunities are available in:
- children’s services
- reference services
- technical services
- website development
- public relations and marketing
- administrative support services
Possible tasks might include developing and implementing programming; working on successful marketing of library services; researching, developing and implementing Library 2.0 technologies; or cataloging.
Interns are encouraged to attend Management Team meetings, Library Advisory Board meetings and committee meetings.
