Local Company Seeks Experienced Developer

They are looking for a very advanced PHP Developer to take over and lead the development end of the business. Someone to lead and think outside the box. Individual should have both front end and php back end knowledge.

Inspired LAMP stack web developer needed.

Primary Responsibilities
– you will be responsible for using your creative thinking to develop novel technical solutions and make beautiful websites
– working as leader of the Web Team to help plan, design and develop web sites for delivery on LAMP servers using open source CMS solutions such as Drupal and WordPress
– managing a server and providing maintenance to about 20 other websites while you continue to develop new ones.
– slicing and dicing photoshop files created by our crack Creative Team and turning them into functioning websites
– pushing the envelope with your development by researching the latest web technologies and finding the right tools for the job

The ideal candidate will posses the following skills
– Ability to write clean, modular PHP code with no supervision
– Demonstrated development in Drupal 6 & 7
– CSS including cross browser capabilities
– Javascript and jQuery
– Knowledge of basic Linux server administration
– Cross browser testing
– Ability to work independently and be a Jack-of-all trades when necessary
– Strong organizational skills to handle the development of several websites simultaneously
– Ability to use Photoshop to slice up websites design files
– Has good aim to shoot down those troubles as they arise

We would love it if you also had the following:
– Experience in E-commerce sites/frameworks (Magento, Ubercart)
– Mobile website development templating
– Drupal plugin development experience
– GIT / Version control
– WordPress & WP
– Ability to “Dog Whisper”
