Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for all corporate communications efforts and marketing department support.

Technical Skills

Must have advanced skills and extremely proficient in:

MS Powerpoint MS Excel MS Word WordPress HootSuite (or other Social Media tool) MailChimp (or other Email Campaign tool) MS Sharepoint Adobe Indesign a plus Responsibilities

Create and develop content for company blogs, newsletters, emails, press releases, company communications etc. Research market trends for content to create newsletters, infographics and other marketing materials Maintain Sharepoint Home Page content and Marketing libraries Update and maintain WordPress website content Coordinate and submit for all local market and national award submissions and post award press releases Manage and oversee all corporate events such as career fairs, charity events, networking events, golf tournaments, etc. Manage the logistics for all trade shows to include booth set up, shipping, marketing materials, event promotional items, etc. Manage all Social Media traffic and maintain and update all corporate pages/profiles across Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google +, and P2P website newsrooms (Blogs) Maintain inventory of all promotional items for all divisions and offices Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or Advertising/PR 2 years of copywriting experience Excellent written and oral communication skills; organizational and time-management skills; and interpersonal skills required Must be detail-oriented, poised and composed under pressure, and must be able to deliver on time-sensitive requests Ability to produce a portfolio of sample work Must have a team player attitude and be able to assist with an array of projects SEO knowledge preferred
