Anticipated Salary Range
$29,500 – Negotiable

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.

Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing.

Skilled in energetic and conversational approach to narration.

Must demonstrate experience in industry standard audio software and hardware.

Ability to record and organize audio data in a clear fashion using basic tools (microphone, audio capturing software, and computer).

Experience working with projects that require attention to detail, meeting project deadlines, and working independently.

Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing.

Ability to clearly read and narrate audio scripts.

Must provide sample work.

Preferred
Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to audio problems in operational hardware and software
Ability to perform standard English pronunciations for scientific terms
Experience with narration work for educational content and informational videos, etc.
Ability to use Adobe Audition or other Adobe Creative Suite tools

Contracts and Grants
The position is funded by contract and grant monies.

Responsibilities
This employee will work on a project developing instructional videos and presentations for young and adult learners. The primary responsibilities for this person include leading the development of the narrations to the thousands of instructional media. This includes narrating, editing digital audio using industry standard equipment and software, adhering to project timelines, working with others, and following specific instructions. The successful candidate is able to speak, write, and convey thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise manner.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed above.

Pay Plan
This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
