Hello, ARL colleagues,
For those of you who are working with or know of any soon-to-be graduates, the NC State University Libraries is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 2024-2027 NC State University Libraries Fellows! Eligible candidates for this recruitment cycle will be those with ALA-accredited M.L.S. or M.I.S. degrees awarded between December 2023 and September 2024.
As a Libraries Fellow you will experience the rewards of working with diverse patrons, including outstanding faculty and students in nationally ranked academic programs. You will gain experience in a highly collaborative work environment with access to key decision makers throughout the organization. You will also develop expertise in a functional area of academic librarianship while also contributing meaningfully to an innovative initiative of strategic importance. In addition to a competitive annual salary of $68,000, the Libraries provides Fellows a generous professional development stipend of $4,000 per year.
Learn more about the NC State University Libraries Fellows Program by attending our online information session on Monday, November 13 at 3:30pm EST. Join a panel of current Fellows Hiva Kadivar and Elan Sandler, former Fellow Kevin Beswick, and Fellows program coordinator, Tarida Anantachai to find out more information about the application process, the Fellows experience, NC State University Libraries, and life in the Research Triangle. This virtual information session will include a live Q&A. A recording will also be made available.
