DESCRIPTION:

The Associate Librarian, Research & Instruction provides professional library services with emphasis on reference and instruction. As part of a team environment, provides leadership for library services, and direction in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the library’s information literacy instruction program. Creates instructional and training materials in print, multimedia, and interactive formats. Collaborates with academic support services staff to develop programs and initiatives for the college community.  Serves at the Associate Librarian rank until qualification for promotion in rank to full librarian via the Continuing Contract process as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
