The University of Michigan is looking for a Program Manager to become an active member of the Science, Technology, and Public Policy (STPP) team. As the Education Program Manager, you will provide oversight and management of STPP’s existing educational programs, as well as oversee the creation, launch, and operation of educational opportunities and programming for new audiences, including U-M undergraduates, postdoctoral fellows, STEM and policy professionals, and community organizers. You will report to the STPP Managing Director.
The STPP Program is a research center at the Ford School of Public Policy that includes research, educational, and community engagement activities. The centerpiece of our work is a graduate certificate program, which currently enrolls around 100 Masters and PhD students from across the University of Michigan training them to develop competency in the ethical, political, social, and equity dimensions of science, technology, and related public policies. The STPP Program has been growing in recent years, with new applied research and community partnership initiatives, and we are now planning to expand our educational activities.
