Reporting to the Library Director, the Electronic Resources Librarian is responsible for managing all aspects of the electronic-resources life cycle and managing all aspects of the ILS. This position maintains a knowledge of current software, issues, tools, and trends, and provides leadership regarding technology and electronic resources.
Job Duties (but not limited to):
- Establish and maintain access to all electronic resources
 - Negotiate resource contracts, trials, and license agreements
 - Provide technology and electronic-resources leadership
 - Evaluate and report on resource usage
 - Collaborate with other library personnel to manage the electronic-resources budget
 - Maintain the Integrated Library System
 - Create original catalog records for the Suber Archives
 - Maintain a relationship with GALILEO and GPALS consortia
 - Serve as library liaison to assigned departments
 - Provide library instruction to liaison departments
 - Provide research assistance to students and faculty, including evening duty
 - Oversee library technology maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting
