This is an entry-level paraprofessional position for a motivated college graduate interested in Library Science, current Library Science student, or recent MLIS graduate. The Library Technical Services Specialist will join our national team, working under the Director of Research Services. Responsibilities include cataloging, enhancement of existing records, updating vendor relationship data, maintaining database user and print standing order lists, responding to user license requests, centralizing print subscriptions, processing invoices, and supporting other administrative tasks. The Library Technical Services Specialist will work with new and existing applications to streamline library processes and suggest improvements, making independent judgments to best solve issues arising in day-to-day library operations.
