Neuro And Health Sciences Librarian @ Indiana University

Seeking creative, innovative librarian to liaise with students and faculty in several neuro- and health related academic units on the Bloomington Campus: Cognitive Sciences, Optometry and Vision Science, Nursing, Psychological and Brain Sciences, and Speech and Hearing Sciences.

Responsibilities: provide comprehensive, specialized instructional, research, and collections support at all educational levels and across information formats; provide advanced consultation and search services for narrative and scoping reviews and other literature intensive research projects; develop and build print and electronic collections that meet user needs; continually learn and understand evolving research practices and teaching needs in order to engage constituents with spaces, services, and collections; proactively develop and manage relationships with constituents in order to anticipate and meet needs; assist in development and actualization of researchers’ data management plans using institutional and community best practices; support federal public access policy compliance.; with colleagues, participate in understanding research data service needs and development of outreach and training strategies; explore and keep abreast of changing technologies and their application in neuro and health sciences, such as: 3D Virtual Reality, GIS, data visualization, curation and preservation of information, citation impact, and the semantic web; contribute to developments in field of librarianship through active professional engagement and independent scholarship consistent with a library faculty appointment.
