Reference/Instruction Librarian. We seek a creative, enthusiastic and user-focused librarian, with a strong commitment to teaching, to join the Reference and Instruction Services Department’s instruction team. The responsibilities of team members include teaching information literacy sessions throughout the curriculum and coordinating instruction-related projects and initiatives for the department. The librarian hired for the position will also be responsible for providing reference services and engaging in liaison activities and collection development. This twelve-month tenure-track position requires professional and scholarly activity as well as service on library and university committees.
As a member of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL), Auburn University Libraries houses a collection of more than 4.5 million volumes and operates with a materials budget of $8.1 million.
