The George A. Smathers Libraries at the University of Florida invite applications for a Science Librarian position.

We are seeking an innovative and collaborative individual to join our library faculty team serving as liaison to the engineering and physical sciences. The Science Librarian position is a year-round (12 month) tenure-track faculty which provides research assistance, instruction, outreach, and collection management. The science librarians work collaboratively with their fellow subject specialists and maintain close professional relationships with faculty, students, and staff in assigned liaison departments/institutions/programs.  Liaisons build close, communicative relationships with their groups through in-person and virtual outreach and promotion of library services in various channels.
