Huntingdon College is seeking applicants to join its library faculty as the Systems & Electronic Resources Librarian. This tenure-track, 12-month position (rank dependent upon experience) has daily management of the Library’s systems and technical services functions, which includes — but is not limited to —
- Serving as the primary liaison with OCLC and database vendors
- Developing and maintaining access to the Library’s web catalogue and electronic resources (our library is an OCLC WMS library)
- Overseeing digitization projects
- Overall tech troubleshooting
- Overseeing cataloguing functions (knowledge of DDC and MARC necessary)
- Sharing responsibilities for collection development, reference and research services, and instruction.
