The Manatee County Public Library System supports the County’s growing community and visitors through a wide range of educational and technological resources, programs, and classes at seven facilities. We offer a wide array of digital books and audiobooks, unique collections, databases, and special events for people of all ages.

As a Teen Services Librarian (Librarian I) in our newest branch, you will directly assist teens each day. Teen Librarians plan original programs for the public, provide readers advisory services and work cooperatively with coworkers at the branch and other Teen and Youth Services Staff across the County. Teen Services staff are responsible for ongoing successful implementation of system-wide literacy initiatives, such as Summer Reading Program. Manatee County Public Library is a collaborative and fast-paced environment, where teamwork, flexibility, and a positive attitude are essential to success.
