SPECIAL NOTES:
Applicants are required to have one of the following:  A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience in computer systems analysis or computer programming: OR A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course of study in one of the Computer Sciences or Management Information Systems and one year experience as described above: OR A master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course of study in one of the Computer Sciences or Management Information Systems and one year experience as described above: OR  an associates or higher level degree from an accredited college or university with major course of study in one of the computer sciences or in management information systems and three years experience as described above: or completion of 720 classroom hour program of study from a Vocational/Technical school in the area of Data Processing and four years of experience as described above.

Experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

Preference will be given to applicants with experience working with Cisco IP Telephony, Routers, Cisco Unified Messaging, Firewalls and with Switches.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
This position manages the daily operations of both enterprises voice and network infrastructures and requires working knowledge of Cisco IP Telephony, Firewalls, Routers, and Switches.  Applicants must have the ability to research, analyze, develop, and implement strategic plans for information systems in an enterprise network environment.  Applicants should have troubleshooting and resolution skills.  Applicants will be required to provide long range planning of network/telecommunications systems for upper level management.  Applicants must possess strong oral and written communications skills.

Ability to prioritize workload; to develop various management reports; to process information logically and solve problems; to monitor and resolve problems with distributed computer systems components; to identify and define enterprise network needs; to communicate effectively and efficiently both oral and written; to communicate technical data processing information effectively; to write technical data processing reports; to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.  Knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques for problem solving and analysis; of operating system and/or telecommunication concepts; of Cisco IOS operating environments for switches and routers; of telecommunication concepts, and computer operating procedures and systems; of an enterprise computing environment; of network industry standards; of network wiring/cabling; of routers: of switches: of firewalls: of distributed processing operations, procedures, and equipment; of computers and software.  Ability to apply problem solving techniques. Knowledge of Cisco VoIP Telephony technology: of Cisco Call Manager (CCM): Cisco Contact Center/IPIVR: Cisco Unity Unified Messaging: of Cisco Network, systems management monitoring tools.
