OPS IT Technician @ FSU College of Education

Responsibilities

  • Provide desktop support for Windows and Apple devices in person and remotely
  • Troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues
  • Perform peripherals installation and troubleshooting
  • Install software and troubleshoot any related issues
  • Communicate with users over the phone, email, in person, and remotely to resolve their technical issues and advise on the effective and efficient application of different technologies
  • Assist in inventory of all technical equipment and software licensing

 

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and one year experience in IT
  • Self-motivated, able to work within a project-based environment
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with an ability to meet deadlines
  • Being able to work individually with minimal supervision
  • Effective communication skills with users of diverse technical backgrounds and skill levels
  • Working successfully in a team-oriented environment
  • Reliable and punctual
