Anticipated Salary Range
Negotiable based upon experience.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other appropriate degree and four years’ experience or a combination of appropriate post high school education and experience equal to eight years.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.

Excellent problem solving and technical skills.

Experience with documenting processes (new and existing).

Experience prioritizing, organizing, and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Experience working successfully in a team-oriented environment.

Experience conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users.

Experience with solving hardware and software problems.

Technical knowledge of and experience with operating systems including Windows Server 2008-2012, Linux, and Virtual System Environments.

Experience with current systems software, protocols and standards, including Active Directory.

Experience with standard System languages, concepts, practices, and procedures within the technology field.
Background Check Requirements
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check to include fingerprinting.
Preferred
Candidate should have experience with administering a virtual environment built on VMware technology.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Responsibilities
Responsible for day-to-day administration and oversight of all Windows, Linux and Virtual operating systems and software. Manages communications and connection solutions, including local area networks

Provides advanced troubleshooting and develops appropriate technical solutions to complex hardware and software problems on servers. Analyze system, server application, network and input/output device performance. Perform and test routine system backups and restorations.

Advises the management team and recommends, schedule and performs software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations and /or purchases.

Practices network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information

Deploys servers and encryption systems and all host security systems. Ensures integrity and security of enterprise data on host computers, databases and during data transfer. Manages and advises end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights.

Provide support and consultation to other members of the Open Systems support team and other duties as necessary.
