Overview
Topgolf is seeking a Marketing Coordinator (MC) to bring campaigns to life at a local level. Responsible for planning and executing national and local marketing efforts specific to their area, the MC will understand where to find our Topgolf demographic and identify the newest hot spots on the local social scene to find them.
The MC must ensure a truly integrated approach to marketing activity and will need to collaborate with other Coordinators in market. Their communication and teamwork skills as well as their vibrant personality are key to success.
Topgolf participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, train and schedule hourly Marketing Lead and Brand Ambassadors for in-venue marketing and outreach activation shifts
Execute and activate central marketing campaigns and toolkits on-site as directed by the corporate marketing team and Regional Marketing Manager
Execute outreach programs as part of national and local campaigns and/or to enhance community relations, and complete recaps after each
Manage set up and execution of outreach activations at local events, festivals, etc. Collaborate with other Coordinators in your market on shared activation opportunities
Throughout and following marketing campaigns, actively produce social media posts, photographs, program summary and recap
Create and post content on local venue Facebook page, monitor performance and engagement to inform approach for future content
Own partnerships activation or digital ad recaps, when requested
Track results of all activity and make recommendations for future activity (KPI’s, budgets/financial returns)
Work with venue managers to educate and engage associates on important campaign details including campaign objectives, target audience, upsell tactics, offers, etc.
Ensure all materials on display in venue comply with brand standards (timely/updated/in good shape), including campaign collateral
Maintain the stock/version of promotional items (hand out items, promo cards, tents, banners, games, posters, brochures, etc.)
Manage local venue budget, including tracking/submission of invoices for processing
Review and fulfill requests for donations/sponsorships of local sports teams, charities, schools and other organizations
Assist with coordinating charitable outreach that can also be a business/networking opportunity
Be in-the-know on competitor activity and promotions
Reports to Director of Operations
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required (Marketing, Communications or Public Relations degree, preferred)
1+ year of experience in a Marketing role in work environment
Demonstrated leadership experience (can be through employment or school)
