Children’s Librarian
Summary: Trussville Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, customer-service oriented Children’s Librarian to provide professional library services to a growing community. The selected candidate will plan children’s programs and displays, provide reference services to students and teachers, promote library services and participate in the maintenance of our children’s collection.
Qualifications: A Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited college or university is preferred; a Bachelor’s Degree required; three years of progressively responsible experience in children’s library services required.
Salary/Benefits: Salary is based on educational background. Health insurance and retirement benefits provided. Sick and vacation time are available after one year of employment.
