Web Designer / Developer with at least 3-5 years’ experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive web and mobile design, and who understands on-page optimization for SEO. Works with development, arketing, and business teams to build features and functionality for CMS web sites.
Desired Outcomes:
Support the organization’s mission through creating, developing, enhancing, maintaining, and updating
Studer Group’s websites and e-commerce online presence.
Build sound relationships with the organization’s staff, partners, and customers resulting in the successful
support of website content.
Provide support for day-to-day operations related to the company’s online strategy.
Achieve an overall score of 3 or better on LEM yearly evaluation and goals – measured via LEM monthly
report card
Achieve a score of 90 or better on monthly support service surveys – measured via LEM goal
Assist with successful deployment of web initiatives as assigned – measured via LEM goals and 90-day-plan

Duties and Responsibilities:
Create, develop, enhance, maintain, and update Studer Group’s online presence through their web and ecommerce sites.
Create layout and design of website pages in HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript and Kentico
transformations and templates.
Create UI / UX for web with responsive design
Brainstorm and collaborate with team members on concept development
Work closely with the development team to test new functionality
Pro-actively seek out and recommend new concepts to improve content and performance
Prioritize work and define solutions based on business needs, to include multi-tasking to handle multiple
requests in any given timeframe.
Update, maintain and support content for multiple sites
Assist with development of various training and instructions to assist workforce in maximizing use of
deployed web technology
Assist with successful deployment of web initiatives as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 or more years of work experience demonstrating in-depth knowledge with
web page design, maintenance, content management systems or equivalent in relevant work experience.
Experience and understanding in modern web programming technologies including HTML5, CSS3,
JQuery/JavaScript, PHP, RESTFUL Frameworks, AJAX, SQL, etc.
Proven track record of designing very intuitive and visually appealing consumer facing interfaces
Strong understanding of Web design issues, including browser usability and cross-platform compatibility
Basic understanding of modern design / visual aesthetics. You don’t have to be a devoted graphic designer,
but at least understand its value to user interface.

Able to brainstorm effectively and provide multiple problem solving solutions
Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Stays up-to-date with current trends in web design and online environments
Working knowledge and experience with a content management (Kentico CMS preferred).
Proficient with Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.
Experience creating modular front end code using W3C coding best practices as well as the ability to write
clean and well-structured code.
The ability to prioritize tasks and details.
Ability to act independently with attention to detail and follow through.
