Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Computer Science plus four (4) years directly related work experience; or a high school education and appropriate education and/or directly related work experience to equal eight (8) years.

Requirements
Advanced technical knowledge of platform operating systems including Windows Server 2008, Red Hat Linux and VmWare.  Advanced technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols and standards, including Active Directory.  Knowledge of local area networks.  Experience with data management.  Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience.  Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.  Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.  This position requires a Level II police background check to include fingerprinting.

Special consideration will be given to FSU employees.

Responsibilities
Manage and tune in-house Windows and Linux software systems and network connections to ensure high levels of availability and security of the supported applications.
Pay Plan
This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
