Overview:
Advanced Systems Design is seeking an intern to assist in the creation, design, layout and coding, of a new website. Applicants will be required to provide links to / sample demonstrations of web pages that he/she has created. Experience gained in the classroom and through personal application will be accepted. We are seeking students pursuing a Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Media/Digital Media Production, Communications, Engineering, or other related field.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Industry standards in website development and content accessibility
- Web development application packages such as Adobe DreamWeaver
- HTML, XML, scripting languages, and cross-platform web accessibility standards
- Experience in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design
- Experience working with relational database management tools
- Experience in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and/or other common design and layout applications
- Must be extremely organized and detail oriented
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Must have ability to work independently as well as in partnership with team
- Candidates with experience and interest in online outreach and promotion on blogs, forums, and social networks will be preferred
Education:
Seeking students pursing a Degree in Computer Science, Media / Digital Media Production, Information Technology, Communications, Engineering, or other related field.
