In an article by the Sun Sentinel on the role of Hispanic voters in the U.S., Dr. Felipe Korzenny, director of the FSU Center for Hispanic Marketing Communication, was quoted on the subject.  He mentions, “It’s a no brainer for both parties to try to be attractive to Latinos and Hispanics because they have shown in the last election that they have strong influence — and it’s just going to get bigger and bigger.”

Many experts in the field agree with Dr. Korzenny; when it comes to winning government positions the influence of Hispanic voters should not be ignored.  This is especially true in Florida, where the Hispanic population is on the rise.
