SOCIAL MEDIA ANALYST
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Social Analyst within the Analytics team. In this role, you will support social media analytics across several of our client accounts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
– Work collaboratively with team, across departments (primarily account management and social), and with vendors, to execute timely structured analysis and deliver actionable insights and recommendations in order to measure and optimize marketing campaigns
– Produce scheduled and ad-hoc reports analyzing activity across client social channels, including both organic and paid media data
– Export and aggregate data from multiple sources including but not limited to Facebook Insights, Google Analytics and Crimson Hexagon
– Create a positive work environment and foster a team approach
– Monitor external services and studies in order to update teams on new strategies, tools and methodologies for usability and analytics tracking or reporting
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, DEMONSTRATED SKILLS & ABILITIES
Educational Requirements
– Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Statistics, Economics, or related field
– Marketing or agency experience a plus
Experience Required
– Strong written and verbal communication
– Strong and proven analytical skills
Computer and Other Skills
– Experience in Keynote and Excel (including pivot tables)
– Experience in Google Analytics or similar web analytics tool is a plus
– Experience with Crimson Hexagon or similar social listening tool (Radian6, NetBase, Sysomos) is a plus
– Must have excellent work ethic and be organized, detail oriented, flexible and able to prioritize multiple projects with short deadlines
– Passion for social and digital media
– Positive, eager-to-learn attitude
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
– Significant time in front of computer
– Minimal lifting and bending required

– Ability to identify and develop innovative ideas (e.g. emerging technologies, new analytic tools and measures) to broaden the teams abilities and offerings
– Adept at building presentations and telling stories using visual cues
