The first two weeks of the semester can be hectic. To help you out, we’ve compiled some important information that you need to know about CCI advising.
Registration will re-open for students on January 6, 2016.
The College of Communication & Information will be seeing only walk-ins for advising January 6 – January 11, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. After January 11, advising will operate on an appointment-only basis.
If you have a Degree Off Track Hold, you will need to see an advisor.
If you have a Major Change Hold, you will need to speak with mapping coordinator Zach Reddick.
Students interested in changing their major to IT, ICT, Communication majors, Communication Science & Disorders should make an appointment to check their eligibility for after January 11, 2016
If you are interested in applying to the Communication majors, follow this link. If you are interested in applying to the Communication Science & Disorders major, follow this link. Applications are due no later than February 1, 2016.
If you have enrollment issues regarding courses in the College of Communication & Information, you will need to see an advisor. However, please note that advisors cannot place students in any courses.
If you meet with an advisor, please have your questions prepared beforehand. At this time, advisors will only be answering a few questions per student due to the high volume of student traffic. If you have more than 1-2 questions, please make your appointment for after January 11, 2016 so that an advisor can take the time to address all of your concerns.
Advisors will be out of the office for orientation on January 5, 2016.
