COMM media production recent grads win 2013 Florida AP Broadcaster Awards

Recent Florida State University School of Communication media production graduates, Taylor Tannebaum and Ricardo Maldonado, won first place in the Sports category of the 2013 Florida Associated Press Broadcaster (FAPB) Awards.  These annual awards recognize outstanding radio and television contributions from college and professional stations across the state.

Tannenbaum and Maldonado were given the award for their Seminole Sports magazine feature titled, “Confidence: Florida State’s Michael Snaer”, which profiles the FSU senior guard’s mental preparation and attitude on the basketball court.  While at FSU, both winners worked at Seminole Sports Magazine– Tannebaum as a reporter and Maldonado as an editor.
