Title: Adventure in curriculum development
Abstract: Curriculum development is an activity that all LIS programs undergo. For some, it’s an ongoing process. For others, it’s something that gets done just in time for the accreditation visit. Dr. Rodriguez-Moi will will discuss his experiences with curriculum development in a variety of master’s programs. He’ll explain how the process works and talk about some of the differences he has encountered across programs.
Bio: Howard Rodriguez-Mori is a new Assistant Professor at the FSU School of Library & Information Studies, and holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from this program. As a doctoral student he was recruited to the faculty of Wayne State University. Later he worked at the University of Denver, and most recently, at Simmons University.
