fsu relay for life logo 2013-14The Florida State University (FSU) College of Communication & Information Student Leadership Council is participating with Relay for Life on April 11-12 to raise money to fight cancer.  They are seeking the support of students, faculty and staff to join them at these events and are also open to other students on the team, even if they are not part of the Council.

The 2013-14 American Cancer Society Relay for Life FSU festivities kick off at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 11, and end at 6 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, at the Main Campus Fields located at 1007 West St. Augustine Street.

Relay for Life is a celebration where survivors, caregivers, and participants can come together, while remembering those who have lost their battle to cancer and fighting back for a cure with fundraising efforts.  When you walk to end cancer at an American Cancer Society Relay for Life event, it is an opportunity to not only honor cancer survivors and remember loved ones lost, but also to raise awareness about what we can do to stay well from cancer and raise money to help fuel the world’s largest walk to end cancer.

Please find details about donating and/or participating by visiting the American Cancer Society’s CCI Student Leadership Council’s Relay for Life Page
