Zeigler to moderate Free Speech: A Multimedia Discussion on April 3

Florida State University College of Communication & Information professor Mark Zeigler will moderate “FREE SPEECH: A Multimedia Discussion”, a complicated conversation about your freedom of speech on campus on April 3.

The panel discussion, presented by the Division of Student Affairs, will feature College of Law Professor Franita Tolson; Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs Brandon Bowden; and Davis Hammet, the director of operations at Planting Peace’s Equality House.

The event will feature a mixed media format with video elements and audience questions and comments. Topics for this panel will include both the local and national impact of free speech, from the rights within free speech zones on college campuses to the protection of those who protest.
