CCI congratulates the following faculty members who have been promoted to Associate Professor, effective August 2023.

Jung Hoon Baeg (Teaching Faculty II) joined the faculty in 2018 and teaches IT classes. His areas of research include health informatics, health data analytics, and STEM education, among others. 

Kimberlee Crass (Teaching Faculty II) joined the faculty in 2018 with a passion for teaching and a clinical specialty in the aural (re)habilitation of children and adults who are deaf or hard of hearing. Dr. Crass serves as the SCSD Undergraduate Program Coordinator and faculty advisor for the FSU Chapter of the National Student Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (NSSLHA).   

Chanta Haywood (Teaching Faculty II) joined the faculty in 2018 with 20 years of university administration experience. When not in the classroom, she’s running her own business which helps students of all ages get into and through college. 

Avery Henry (Teaching Faculty II) joined the faculty in 2018. Beyond teaching, he also coaches the Florida State Debate Team. 

Lynne Hinnant (Teaching Faculty III) coordinates the Information Leadership and Management Certificate Program at the iSchool and teaches Management of Information Organizations, Leadership in Technology, and Information Leadership. She has an MPA and PhD from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University and has worked as a hotelier, an ESL and music educator, as well as a conflict management consultant to both private organizations and government agencies at the federal, state and local levels.
