Dr. Kaitlin Lansford, Associate Professor in the School of Communication Science and Disorders, was recently appointed Co-Editor-in-Chief for Seminars in Speech and Language.
Seminars in Speech and Language is a topic-driven review journal that covers the entire spectrum of speech-language pathology, with each issue bringing in a leading specialist to curate its content. Currently, Lansford and her co-EIC, Dr. Anthony Koutsoftas from Seton Hall University, are forming their editorial board and planning content for the 2023 publications.
Prior to assuming this new role, Lansford served as a guest reviewer for the journal. Relatedly, she served as a guest editor and editorial board member for other scholarly journals in the communication science and disorders field, including the Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research and the American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology.
When asked about what this new role means to her, and how she hopes to contribute to the publication of the journal, Lansford said “I’m thrilled and honored to assume this new role. Collectively, we (the co-Editor-In-Chiefs) look forward to deriving relevant issue topics that both support and advance the field of speech language pathology.”
