Inc. Magazine, a publication focused on growing companies, recently released it’s annual list of 5,000 fastest-growing private sector companies in the United States.
On that list were three Tallahassee-based companies, including Advanced Systems Design (ASD). Dr. John DuBard, Director of the Project Management Center at Florida State University, is the company’s Founder and President. ASD ranked 2,223 with a 175% growth and annual revenue of $17.9M. ASD has offices in Tallahassee, St. Petersburg, Atlanta, and Montgomery, Ala. with a staff of 175 employees located in over 20 states.
Since it’s inception in 1979, DuBard has grown ASD into a successful information technology & management consulting firm. The company has served multiple government agencies over the years, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Defense Health Agency, United States Navy and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in addition to state level agencies.
ASD has landed on Inc.’s annual ranking of fastest-growing companies seven times, making the Inc. 500 from 1998-2000 and has made the Inc. 5000 list annually since 2012.
