Shonda Sampson has been appointed the new Assistant Director for Finance & Administration for FSU’s College of Communication and Information (CCI). In this role, she will coordinate the administrative functions within the College, interpret and implement administrative policies as well as oversee HR, contracts and grants, as well as administer the various financial functions within CCI. She will succeed Ellen Harmon who retired earlier this year to spend time with family in Missouri.

“We are fortunate to have Shonda join us in the College,” CCI Dean, Dr. Larry Dennis, remarked. “Her previous experience with UBA will help lead our College and help us reach more students with our programs.”

Sampson has been with FSU since 2001 where she has worked in Finance and Administration. For the past 13 years, she has served as the Financial Specialist/UBA representative with the School of Information. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Criminology at FSU, and has completed numerous UBA trainings and certifications over the years.
