Shannon Hall-Mills, ASHA Roles and Responsibilities

Shannon Hall-Mills, a Visiting Assistant Professor in SCSD, moderated an expert panel regarding the ASHA Roles and Responsibilities of SLPs in Schools at the Schools Conference of the Florida Association for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (FLASHA) at Nova Southeastern University’s campus in Orlando, October 29th. Dr. Hall-Mills spoke on several essential factors in implementing the critical roles and range of responsibilities including role and responsibility realignment, reasonable workloads, professional preparation, and lifelong learning. Dr. Hall-Mills is a member of the FLASHA Workload Committee that formed the Florida SLP School Leadership Network (FLSLPSLN).
