Daniella Smith wins Outstanding TA Award

College of Information doctoral student Daniella Smith has won an 2008 Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award. The awards are sponsored by APPS: The Program for Instructional Excellence (PIE), part of the FSU Center for Teaching and Learning, to recognize the outstanding contribution TAs make to the instructional mission of the University.

Daniella was one of ten TAs chosen to receive the award out of 87 nominated graduate teaching assistants. Nominees submit teaching portfolios, which are evaluated by a committee of 20 FSU faculty and senior graduate student teaching assistants.

Congratulations to Daniella, who will receive a $500 honorarium, a framed certificate, and recognition by FSU at the Celebration of Graduate Student Excellence, Wednesday, April 2, 3:30500 PM, Dodd Hall Auditorium.
