The SLA Philadelphia chapter will be hosting their second installment of the Career Workshop with the SLA Princeton-Trenton chapter. This will be an onsite program with webcasting option. We will have 3 panelists discussing “Career Workshop: Information Consulting as a Career.” There will be time for networking and light refreshments before the presentation.

5:30- Networking, light refreshments
6:00- Discussion Panel and Q&A/Webcast begins
7:00- Closing out program and more networking

Where: It will be held at the General Electric (GE) Betz facility: 4636 Somerton Road, Trevose PA 19053
-Jean Fisher: Besides serving on the Philadelphia Chapter board, Jean is the founder of Vantage Information Services. Vantage provides market research, competitive intelligence and digital taxonomy for clients in the STM publishing sector.
-Jennifer Burke: Jennifer is president of Intellicraft Research, LLC as well as an independent information professional, and a library consultant for the company. There she focuses on strategic marketing for promotion, outreach and communications.  She is also on the Board of Directors for Association of Independent Information Professionals (AIIP).
-Andrea Carrero: Andrea has been president of both Black Ink Marketing and Word Technologies Inc for 13 years. World Technologies provides marketing communications for technology companies in virtually any vertical market. Black Ink Marketing is a boutique firm that helps small and medium sized businesses control their revenue cycles with continuous marketing efforts targeted to their industries and the needs of their customers.
