If you have the desire and vision to think creatively and are results driven, then the Service Experience internship on the Individual Life Insurance team is for you!
During the 10-week internship, you will have the opportunity to rotate within the following 3 functions of Individual Life Insurance:
- • Customer Value Center: optimizes the profitability of Prudential’s inforce life insurance policies and cultivates customer advocates through targeted customer retention and client-initiated sales.
- • New Business Case Management: supports distribution partners in selling Life Insurance through case coordination, relationship-based service, and process education.
- • Compensation Operations: administers compensation programs for Prudential Advisors and maintains all producer information to ensure timely and accurate payments bi-weekly.
Job Responsibilities:
- • Gain an understanding of the different businesses that make up Individual Life Insurance, such as Underwriting, Claims, Service, Marketing, Product, Distribution (Sales) and Compensation.
- • Work closely with seasoned leaders, mentors and coaches to assist in the information gathering process necessary to evaluate, analyze and manage data related to the Individual Life Insurance business.
- • Analyze customer data and provide thoughtful process improvement solutions that benefit the customer experience.
- • Learn project management and process improvement methodologies that will assist in conducting root cause analysis. Based on projects at the time, potential to facilitate meetings, maintain project plans, follow with key stakeholders on deliverables, create presentations and agendas, and in some cases, prepare meeting minutes.
Qualifications:
- • Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s program graduating between December 2020 and May 2022
- • All majors welcome; Minimum 3.0 GPA required
- • Demonstrated interest, skills and/or experience or majoring in Finance, Risk Management, Marketing, Communications, Customer Service, Insurance, Computer Science, Business, or Accounting, is a plus
- • Prudential does not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Successful candidates must possess the requisite US employment authorization to be eligible for consideration
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
- • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- • Ability to build relationships, influence people, work within a team environment, and be independent
- • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project) and digitally savvy
